not sure if this is the right forum, but i'll give it a shot. i'm having a problem ripping a cd and transferring the WAV files to the JB3 over firewire. anyone else ever have this problem? the message i keep getting is:
"Player is either not connected or busy, please try again later."
from the screen on the JB3 it appears to be connected. any suggestions? i tried creatives support and typed in the above message and did everything suggested and still get this message. wondering if i should be using USB to transfer tunes from PC to JB3. TIA.

hey bean,
i think it was the driver. i had already updated the firmware. after installing the latest driver i gave it a try and voila!, it works. i've got 5 cds on the jb3 sofar. i'm not sure if i'll use the jb3 for recording. if i do, i'll format and give it a try, but so far, no shows i'm interested in. and i've got two d8's to run. hmmm, maybe i might sell one of the d8's. ramblin' :) oh, btw--does the jb3 playback seamless. meaning, can i load a show that is tracked and there won't be any gaps? thanx again,
