Title: iso: 5/8 extension adapter to do XY

looking for extension adapter to go on my 5/8 thread on my akg tbar. they sell anything like that over b&h?

couldn't you flip one of the mic mounts so it screws in from the bottom (with one of the mics hanging under the tbar)?  This would result in a fair bit of vertical spacing but would allow you to go xy

with the shockmounts i have, they are a lil heavy to do tha... they are the avantone shockmounts

You can often put together a small riser by coupling together a couple of adapters.  Something like this pairing:
