When searching for a cheap A>D converter I came across this http://www.soundprofessionals.com/cgi-bin/gold/category.cgi?category=570&item=SP-AD2000&type=store (http://www.soundprofessionals.com/cgi-bin/gold/category.cgi?category=570&item=SP-AD2000&type=store)
Seems like a cheap way for a starter A>D.

I posted about this quite a while ago. I think the general consensus is that this is a low end ADC. It is probably quieter than any MD or a jb3 (and definitely a computer adc), but not up to par with a ad20, ua5 or something like that. I personally decided to stay away, there's a reason why it's $60.

It seems to me that that would be the better choice for going cass or vinyl > computer. I don't really know though.

with adc20's only bringing 150 these days, i would at least get one of those!
