Title: New DVD Burner question
Post by: BWolf on March 30, 2004, 12:35:16 PM
i just got a poineer 107....it came with Ulead DVD factory, and it works well for data and dvd/movie burning, but for audio, its not so good, there is no place to remove the 2 second gaps between songs....

i have nero, but it won't work with the new burner for some reason (with the installed updates and such)......

so my question is: what software is everyone using to burn DVD-A/CD-R audio with their DVD burners?  any shareware?  i just want a consensus so that i can go buy software....i would imagine that the new version of nero (v6) would support the burner

thanks
brad

If you want a true gapless DVD-A disk, you must use Minnetonka's Diskwelder.  They are coming out with a version that is less than $100 real soon!
Nero does burn DVDs, but for DVDA, you cant use it.

discwelder chrome is only $2500 8)

I just bought a 107 myself and was wondering the same thing.  Will it work if I go to copy a disc of something like The Sopranos?

alright, well i got a copy of nero 6 and it supports the burner, everything is working well

you have have to use something like DVDDecrytper to copy a full produced DVD, but the ulead software is good for making dvd from computer format movies (wmv, mpg, avi.....)

ps - if you want nero to burn audio discs, PM me
