Title: Gaffers<sp?> tape

Actually, no I didn't... It was the concrete floor at the Pour House... Good point, I'll ahve to watch for that in the future...

sandbags - i use ankle weights - they velcro to the legs of the stand and don't weigh too much in the bag.

Post by: drumminj on April 01, 2004, 08:37:21 PM: I actually got my Gaffers tape from Third Eye Blind. When they came through UIUC, my boss (who managed the auditorium) stole a box from them. Neon orange and yellow, as well as black tape. Great stuff since it won't stick/leave residue on your cables, but sticks to everything else pretty well.

i too took up some paint. it was from the back wall of the sheridan opera house under the booth windows. taped up the core sounds because i'm too noisy to stealth. was using gaff spike tape so it was thinner, but still sticky, end of show paint came off with mics. moved to the brass rail after that.

If I'm going to hell anyway, might as well enjoy the ride...
