Hi,
I have been trying to configure DINA with a A27m vert bar and AT shock mounts. I have figured out 2 ways to get this config but am not satisifed with either one. I got it to work one way but if you draw a straight line between the mic caps, the vert bar is in the way. So i tried another method angling the shock mounts. This fixes the vert bar problem but the whole configuration is on one side of the bar. Is there a way with this config to have the vert bar in the center, mics on each side, and have the vert bar behind the mics?

try crossing the mics over themselves in front of the vert bar, this is the way that I run ORTF and DIN when necessary.

thanks +T..i just figured it out too..lol always happens.

Just curious.... what's wrong with having the vert bar in between the mics?

Peace of mind i guess..i just prefer to have the caps the most upfront part of the rig with nothing between em. I'm not sure if the bar in line with the caps affect the sound. I don't want to run with the vert bar in vegas for the first time and find out if it does or not.

hell yeah mok3, im a couple stands down that show, to the right!!!
the mics we use are SUPER sensitive and will not pick up things like that nor will it degrade the signal!!!

+T damn..thats one hell of a tree! how long does it take to set up and tear down that thing?

i run the shure vert bar, and i run din behind it with the caps inlin with the bar sometimes and have never heard anything from it in 8 months using the thing, and that tree took them at least 20 minutes to set up with all the mics and shocks and everything ready to go, and btw im the stand to the right with the green cables with bean right next to mine
