Title: how do u turn off backlite on tascam dr100mk2 during recording?

Possible? Buddy in the field running phantom at interlocken...trying to save battery..

Go to MENU > SETUP > BACKLIGHT. There you have the options of always off [OFF] to always lit [ALWAYS] and various time settings inbetween.
