Title: SHN > WAV > FLAC....cool or not?
Post by: phishmarisol on March 31, 2004, 04:09:19 PM
I taped a show a while ago and someone else did the transfer.  They saved the files as SHN.  Now I have the SHN files but I prefer to work with and save my stuff in FLAC.  So if I decode the SHN files, and encode those WAVs to FLAC, will I be violating any audiophile no-nos?

no DAE, I don't see why not. I'd note it in the text file though.

I've participated in a similar discussion a while ago over here:

I see no problem with it as long as it is noted in the text file...
