Hello everyone,
have got some recent issues with my:
SP-SPSB-10-80020 (mini 12vdc battery)
First of all it has been working really good for 1 and a half years time, very happy with all my recordings.
Some questions about it (as there is some issues with them now - these questions pops up):
- How often / and should one replace the battery?
- If and so, How to open the little unitbox, it´s very tricky, any advice?
- Once I recorded a concerts using the SP-SPSB-10-80020 with my AT 943 Mic´s and Olympus -LS-10 Linear recorder,
one time I got these "buzzing" / "overdrive"-sound troughout the complete recording although the recording accept from this sounded quite alright...Then next time recording these "permanent buzzing" from the recording before was gone and I got a really nice recording like so many times before...is it issues connected to the SP-SPSB-10-80020 Module and the battery...?
- it seems that they´ve glued the battery module...not to be open or?
Here´s a photo of the module:

Any info / advices highly and thankfully accepted.
Sorry if this issues are cheesy...
Greetings

Seems like good questions to ask SP? Why not send them an email?
That back cover should slide off pretty easily, you may have to push in those 2 little tabs through the front. I would replace those batteries after 40 hours or so of use, especially if you leave them in place between shows.
Thank you very much, the issue is now solved regarding the battery module, I´ll make a test with the rec-gear tomorrow and see if it´s the battery module that caused the prob in first place.
