Title: Need basic mounting for ME-80s
Post by: jagraham on January 05, 2014, 09:47:47 AM
Can someone kindly suggest a cheap mounting option for Teac ME-80s? I'm using a clip found at a local music store but need something else. Shocks would be preferred but really I just need the mics in place. One issue I've encountered is that my stand has no thread at the top, so it has to clamp to the stand somehow. Thank in advance.

^ Something like this picture would work, but I need to be able to set it up ORTF or DIN.

Audix d clips would work with your mics and they are small and nicely built.

Have you seen Chucks DIY PVC/D-clip Clone of the Shure Vert Bar?
