Title: Edirol R-09HR - screen freeze
Post by: auto_pilot on January 19, 2014, 05:35:04 AM
I can't find any comment on this elsewhere but that's not to say I haven't missed something - links welcome.

Running AUD (CA-14 cards > bb > R-05) and SBD (xlr > R-09HR) at a five-band local show last night.
Got the first four bands no problem, although I missed the first few seconds on the AUD recording of the second band because I was deep in conversation about Jamie Patterson (ex-Walsall) and his current scoring form at Notts Forest.

Came to start the R-09HR up for the SBD recording of the final band and it froze - R-09HR appears on screen in large font, then a scrolling message runs underneath it, then the playback/recording screen opens up. Wouldn't go any further than the scrolling message. I tried restarting, removing and replacing batteries etc but no joy. Seems to be working fine again this morning.

Any advice on how to avoid this happening again would be much appreciated.

Thanks - not sure I've updated it that far.
