I own a set of both Peluso and Busman/dorsey modded Oktava's.   I like both pairs.  I run them at festys with identical decks set to the same exact settings. On some recordings using the card caps the Oktava's sound slightly better overall. A good balance on the high, mid and low.  The Peluso's sound more crisp on the high end but sometimes the low end is very faint.  I also own a set of Beyerdynamic mc930's and they are my go to mics over both of these sets when needing a cardioid microphone.

Peluso makes a CEMC not a CMC

I almost bought a set of the pelusos, I really like them, but I like the busmans more. Personally I speak for the oktavas. I listened to a ton of peluso tapes, and they are no slacker they are good mics. I think your best off sitting down and just listening, but do it for two weeks or so and you may change your mind multiple days as you may like one thing one day and something else another day.
