So, Im tracking out my Slip show from Friday, and Im faced with a decision on how to make the show fit on 2 discs: I can A. Put the first song of set 2 on disc one, or B. fade the pre encore crowd cheering... Not a huge deal, but Im curious as to what others would do...

i would choose not to put song 1, set 2 on disc 1. it would interrupt the set 2, imho.

yeah I would give at least a few seconds of pre encore crowd cheering to establish the mood, then fade.
alright, thats what I did, I just wanted to get a few opinions before I seeded. THANKS!
Alternately, you could make one track of just encore cheering, and make two separate tracks of five-second fade out/fade in, and seed it like that. That way, people can decide how they want to burn it, and later on you'll have an uncut version when you go to longer media.

Ha! Dave is a thinker! :hmmm: good idea!
good thinking, what I do is whenever I transfer a disc/file/show, I immediately flac that unedited file which will be archived right along with the finished show.
