Recently went from PC to Mac and it looks like EAC is only for windows. Is there something like it I can get for Mac to rip CDs?
XLD is probably the best ripper for OS X

Thanks I will take a look...
xld is a VERY powerful tool -- it will also convert between shorten (shn), flac and apple lossless (and mp3, etc.), and will even perform sample rate conversions (96k>48k, etc.) and dithering.
Has a bit of a learning curve, so feel free to ask for help
+1 on XLD. Just make sure to read up on configuring it.
Yes, XLD is the one to use!!!
I was just about to ask this same question, the search function is pretty helpful ;)
I'll be back if I have any questions using it.

What needs to be done to configure it?

it will convert to lossy (mp3) or lossless (flac, apple lossless, etc.) formats, so need to be sure you're choosing the right output format (and location) under the "general" tab. Under the "cd rip" tab, it has a number of other "EAC-like" options -- my copy's set up to use "xld secure ripper" and to query the accurateRip database to check integrity.
Not sure what's best/etc. but these will at least having you rip losslessly and securely

If that's all I believe I'm good. Thank you.
