Title: Microphone Stand Accessory Question
Post by: backwhereubelong on April 17, 2014, 01:54:41 AM
I have a Manfrotto 3333 stand and I am looking for some sort of holder for two (2) Sony PCM-M10's ... I saw this and it looks like it would do the job and hold both (as the Sony's are only 1"thick by 2.5" wide) ... what do you all think?  Or is there something better for holding the recorders.

For a single M10, I would use something like this that holds the recorder at whatever angle you need.

Cheap enough-buy two-one for each M10.

Buy 3. I bought two and those things work great but have a habit of coming apart if you put too much pressure on them. I used some gorilla glue on the threads and they seem to hold together better now

Sounds corny, but by looking at the picture I can't get my head around how to recorder sits in the clamp, can you take a picture of yours so I can see it.  Thanks for your advice & help.

The clamp attaches to your stand and the M10 has a threaded socket in the back that will accept the threaded screw end of the clamp. Like 2manyrocks said, this will allow you to put your M10 at nearly any angle since the threaded screw is adjustable.

Has anyone tried one of these with a Flip-style video camera?  Looks like it would work well.
