I have been using Core sound binaurals through a battery box to "line in" on Roland R05 (set to record in stereo) for about 12 months with success.
Good binaural/stereo recordings.
My latest attempt resulted in a mono recording with the same input on both tracks.

My recorder is set for stereo input. I can actually hear the recording switch from binaural/stereo to mono just before the start of the support act Laetitia Sadier.
Roland is about 13 months old.
A test at home records in mono - why?
Is this mikes, recorder of something I did? ???

Len Moskowitz of core can fix it, or anyone competent with wiring.

I opened up the bb and bent the .... lump back a little so the battery wasnt pushing so hard against it and that seems to have fixed it for now.
;D
I also ordered some CA14s and an ugly from Chris. Here's hoping they arrive in time for the Eagles later this month.
I'll swap the plug for a 3.5 TRS :D on the binaurals when the cards arrive and only use the ugly.
Thanks for the advice.
