Title: Are OKM IIr and MM-HLSO built with the same Sennheiser caps ?
Post by: fandelive on July 05, 2014, 02:38:15 AM
Everything is in the topic :)

MM-HLSO are discontinued and it seems pretty hard to get a second-hand pair.
OKM website says they use Sennheiser caps.

Any idea ?

yes, soundman use sennheiser caps for their mics now
after they used some beyer dynamic capsules.
---
what I can say from my own experiences is that the mics/cable are very fragile  :-\
also the cable are very thin and sensitive for cell phones  ???
---
so if you like to went on the OMNI ROUTE I would argue for another brand, ...
---
btw. I have a DPA 4061 pair for sale ;-)
