Title: Link a pic with Foobar2000
Post by: jbell on August 09, 2014, 06:10:50 PM
A friend told me that you can link picks to your shows using Foobar2000, but he didn't have success doing it.  Anyone familiar with how to make this happen.  I can not seem to get picture tags to work. Thanks

tag and rename is how I do it.

multi file tag editor > edit all supported tag fields > add artwork.

never could get foobar to work either.

depending how foobar is set up you can display album art.  it will show there.  it will also show in tag and rename.  it shows on my squeezebox remote and/or app as well.

If you just wasn't the cover art to display in foobar while playing, you don't have to embed it.  Just put the image file in the same folder with your tracks and make sure it is named folder.jpg.  Many other software players and mobile apps follow this convention and will display your artwork in the same way.

I have a flac player if I use foobar2000 picture tag option it doesn't show up on the display of the flac player when playing the album.  It does when I use tag & renamed.  Thanks for the help Gordon
