Tried using the search function but couldn't find anything worth while. I'm wondering if there is a board member who makes these cables? I have a pair of CK91's laying around with bodies but I'm interested in running them as actives. If anyone has any info please chime in.

There were three if I recall
One doesn't do it on the side
One I have not seen post in a long time
The last I believe is church audio
If you go this route them the bodies and active set up are not interchangeable as the way the cap connects, "that's it - no going back".

I'll add my two cents, since I was looking for these when I had a pair of SE300B/CK91's. I was never able to find an "active" style setup. The most promising setup was using the long defunct AKG MK90/3 + H98 extension cables. They are next to impossible to come by, with possibly two exceptions (1.) JAson (bhtoque) may (and I stress may) have an extra one for sale. You may wish to contact him directly. (You would still need to locate another cable). (2.) obaaron is selling an AKG Blueline package in the YS. Included in the package is a custom set of MK90/3 cables modded by DigiGal. obaaron is looking to sell the package as a whole, but there is interest (from others) for pieces of the package. If he decides to sell it piecemeal, that might be your best shot. DigiGal, btw, runs a set that she modded as well. You can find pictures of her set in the latest Team AKG thread.

Hopefully that helps.
Best of luck.

I ran these a few years ago. I picked them up used in the yardsale.
I believe Chris Busman http://www.busmanaudio.com/index.html
Might be able to mod them. He is in the process of moving though.
you would need a battery box to power them. People have used a ca9100
To power these but church audio isn't making the 9100 anymore.
Good luck

I am also including the original mk90 cable(minus connectors) with the package ;D

I owned a pair, and one of CK93s. Busman can do it. Apparently the wiring is not hard. It is a little finicky, though, and it's not as sturdy as some of the other setups. I liked the sound a lot. I guess my thought, in all honesty, is that the Naiant/FBob solutions with the 6x series have devalued these somewhat, but I really like several of my tapes with them.

Obaaron, if the other buyer ends up pulling out please let me know ;D

All you need is the caps, some cable, two mini xlr:s and a 9v battery box.
I made a couple of these some years ago and as has been written before, they are not hard to make and sound really good for the money.
Basically you solder the cables straight onto the little pcb behind the capsule and lead the cable straight out the back of it. Some glue might come in handy to make them durable.

Here is a thread with a pic of one version, not the prettiest but it worked http://taperssection.com/index.php?topic=65926.0
