Title: Akai DPS24 - Does it hold any relevance these days?

Anyone know anything about these decks?  My girlfriend's dad works at a college and is overseeing a small studio closing and one of these is up for grabs.  I said I'd take it just for the hell of it.  Looks like it could be fun to play around with.
