hey now, ill be hitting a few festivals this year and hoping my jb3 will last all the way through.. im running a 20 gig jb3 and was curious how much it can actually store..ive hit a few websites and there all based around mp3 and wma..ill be running 48k wav ...

don't know about 16/48 but 20 gigs in 16/44 gets 31 hours and 20 minutes.

Check the NJB3 FAQ in the Archival Info forum.

2 hrs of 48k wav is roughtly, 1.25 GB
so
20 divided by 1.25(2 hrs) is =16x2 hrs, thats theoretically 32 hrs

32 hours is a lot of music, you'll be pressed to power your gear for that long i none weekend...
unless of course you're like bean and lug around 100 lbs of bp-50's :D

haha, actually i usually only carry one for the v3 to local shows, however, at festies, i bring all 3, im quite used to carry that much now, and soon, im gonna throw a 12v in there for the jb3 :P ;)
i know tim in NJ on here carries 4 bp-50's usually to one show, at least i recall him saying that :)
