Title: JB3 mini optical cable? Where to purchase?
Post by: mpujol on April 11, 2004, 02:33:11 AM: I recently got a JB3 and I'm looking for info on where I can pickup an optical in cable for it. I checked around and I can't find one at any of my local music/electronics stores.

1. Where can I get one of these cables that go from standard toslink to this mini toslink? Is it just an adapter that plugs on the end or does it have a different style plug on each end?

2. Where can I get/what do I need to connect from co-ax s/pdif out to this lil mini optical input?

Any suggestions, info and links would be greatly apprciated ;D

Rat Shack sells them individually too.

Post by: johnw on April 23, 2004, 01:38:51 PM: That's probably a pretty good deal since it has 2 adapters that sell for $6 each at RS. Plus it has the caps attached to the cable so you don't lose them.

Post by: AT853rxwh on April 25, 2004, 09:51:36 PM: yeah that is the only downside... but it is really flexible, it coils up fairly easily... Beats spending $30 on a cable and $6 a piece on adaptors tho...

Think of it as $8 adaptors with a free cable :P
