i am looking for assistance with creating a fairly priced (DIY-ish if needed) stand setup for open taping. i will be using either CA-11 omni/card or CA-14 card throughout a few club and theater venues, with either the ugly 2 preamp or ugly battery box plugged into the edirol r-09hr. i most likely will be setting up in front and a little off to where the FOH Engineer is each night. the CA's have clips.
i did a bit of research here and have been eyeballing the Ravelli ALS full 10' air cushioned light stand. i am wondering what else would be beneficial to the setup. additionally, it'd be great if there is some way to keep my recorder attached to the stand. a really big plus is something that would be easy to break down for air travel (carry-on). maybe the Ravelli isn't it for me.
i apologize if my post is pretty bare bones for a newbie. i appreciate all your help. i figure you cannot learn if you do not ask.
thank you.

I guess the 09 has a 1/4 thread on the back for mounting. If it does, you can probably use a camera clamp like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bicycle-Bike-Handlebar-Mount-1-4-Screw-Clamp-Bracket-Tripod-For-Camera-DV-DSLR-/181347110014
A more fancy option is to buy a $19.99 Impact superclamp and mount it using that.
As for how to mount your CA mics, I don't have a pair of those and will leave it someone else to suggest how best to do it. You need some kind of mount for your mics and probably will want a shock mount, too.

It-goes-to-eleven has a thread in the retail section for mounting bars for Church mics.

hoppedup had the most ghetto Church Microphone mount...something along the lines of a ruler, Hair bands and cross stitch hoop.

I've used CA-11s and CA-14s in clubs for several months, without shock mounts. I got a flat bar about 12" long with a threaded hole in the middle. I just screw that on to my stand and clip the mics to the bar in whatever configuration I decide to use. Never had a problem and I'm very happy with my recordings.

If you want shock mounts, something like this (for AT mics) works nicely.

All of my preamps and recorders either have clips, or their pouches do. Make a velcro loop around the mic stand adjustment knobs, and hang the equipment from them.

I have an air-cushioned light-stand you can have for free, if you pay the S&H. Its a "boss" brand 8' stand. It will come with the standard mic-bar thread-adapter at the top...
Since I sold my mics, I have no use for it...

Nice offer!!
Here's the bad old days, when a scrap piece of plastic did the job:

Further down, this is TRULY horrible, but did the job:
