Title: Windscreens for ADK A51S?

I have a few of the A51S mics circa 2009 lying around in need of windscreens.  What are people using or what's recommended?  Thanks.

I'm using the stock ADK screens. Only one of my 4 mics came with a screen. Since I can only use one pair at a time I figured one pair was enough. I sent Larry a message. He replied promptly and offered to send me one at cost since I was ordering some other parts (which they warranteed). Arrived quickly and the invoice was for one screen and a little freight. Can't say I have seen any company have better customer service - a few match it but no one I've dealt with tops it.

So I recommend getting in touch with Larry @ ADK. His email address should be on their site.

There are other options besides contacting ADK. Before I got in touch with them I searched ts and the general consensous seemed to be the Neumanns. Unfortunately I don't recall now if it was the 87s or 89s that fit the A51s - one was a good fit, the other a real stretch to get it on.

Neumann ws87... but that screen costs as much as the mic.

I had some generic ones off ebay that worked.  I can't tell you what/where.

If you look here, it mentions the Windtech Large will fit a bunch of mics including yours, so that gives you somewhat of a cross reference list.  Are the mics 1 and 7/8"? sounds about right.
