Title: Is this Rode NT2-A broken?
Post by: PiotrSzmidt on February 12, 2015, 03:51:11 PM
Hello,

i recently bought a Rode NT2-A Kit. Mic is very nice for vocal but i got the problem with it. I connected it to my Focusrite Saffire 26PRO interface (also to Tascam DR-680) and i got constant floating hum at 40Hz and around 120Hz (so I guess its not harmonical noise - right?).

I changed the preamp (Tascam Dr680) and the problem still. What could be wrong? I think the problem is the mic or could it be the old building electrical problem (i live in Poland so ther is 50Hz power).

screen from RX in attachment.
