Title: AT-853 repair?
Post by: The Other Chris on March 18, 2015, 05:23:47 PM
Have a pair of 4.7 mod 853's that I thought had a short at the 1/8" plug & that I could repair it.  No, no Chris; you can't.      Looking for someone who might be able to repair or re-wire them if needed.   If you can let me know, I sold all my caps so you'd also need to have a set to test them.   Also looking for some hypers as well.   Sorry & thanks for any help.

Do you just need the 1/8 jack soldered back on?  Is the 4.7 mod in the jack or the capsules?  Can't tell from the pic.

He's the man.  He's done some work on my mics and the results have been excellent.
