Title: Replacement Knob-bolts for mic holders?
Post by: down2earthlandscaper on April 05, 2015, 03:03:24 AM: I have plenty of mic clips/holders/shock mounts, but not enough of the threaded knob-bolt things to mount them to the mic bar.
Does anyone know where to get these? (like the K & M one pictured in the middle)

5/8-27 for the larger threads - good luck finding it anywhere off the shelf.

obviously K&M for the real replacements.

Not with the proper undercut. I've spent a good deal of time looking.

If you don't need/want the undercut, yes, the hardware store has plenty of these in various lengths.

Post by: mfrench on April 05, 2015, 11:34:22 AM: i got tired of the threaded bars, and drilled them out. i then used 3/8-16 allen head screws, and wing nuts in place of the 'undercut" screws.

I searched online last night for a half hour at least and couldn't find that part!
Seems like they make them hard to find so you have to buy a whole mic bar if you want those pieces....
