Has anyone tried Wi-fi SD cards with audio recorder?
Just thinking of buying one for 702 with SD-CF adapter.

Cool, didn't know this was something that existed. I know nothing so can't comment, but I am a little curious what would be a practical taping purpose for this? Transfer files to phone immediately for editing?

Before purchasing the Wi-Fi SD card, please make sure your camera model appears on the Wi-Fi SD compatibility list on the Transcend website.

Yes, they sell them only for cameras. So I thought that there might be some issues with devices that are not supported.
Well, they are quite cheap (8GB) and maybe I just get one and try it. If it doesn't work I'll just put in my camera.
The idea was to try transferring raw interview material (mpeg2) through DropBox App or similar for radio broadcasting purposes. If anyone can already tell that it will not work, please share your knowledge. :-)
Yes, I could just record with iPhone and some external mic. (No way!)

Maybe immediately transfer off recorder in case of getting busted? Depends on the time it would take to transfer, I guess.

It won't work. Eye-Fi application doesn't support anything else than picture and video files.
Eye-Fi user forum was pretty quick with this one. :)

The Tascam DR-22WL does this natively (copy to, or stream to, phone from recorder) but then you are probably happy with the recorder you have - apart from its lack of this one feature.
