Post by: Kevin T on May 21, 2015, 01:25:30 PM
Adacity. Wavs only work if stereo.  Yes 44.1/16 format.
Any ideas?

Pair up the mono WAVs and combine them to form stereo WAVs before opening in Audacity.

Sound Devices Wave Agent is a no cost download which can do that among other WAV/BWF tasks.  Check the Mono Combine function-

Is it something about the M10 mono format?

In Audacity, I can open mono wavs from the DR-70D no problem...I even double checked the open vs import  - works fine.

Export mono file as stereo. The M10 is a stereo recorder, apparently the engineers didn't bother to test mono playback.
