I got a ticket to see them at Town Hall on May 22nd and was wondering if this tour is open to taping from your seat, any info?
-
I dont think so. No taping :(
-
Nope, stealth only.
-
darn it...is it because of Meyer?
-
I believe so, yes.

Well, i jumped on ticketbastard and got a good loge seat, so i'm gonna sell my orch/row L ticket, i'm too paranoid about stealthing from that close up, the venue is quite intimate, sitting in loge will make my life much easier in regards to stealthing.

By the way, thanks for the quick replies guys!

yeah, I saw Chris Thile / Edgar Meyer.... that was a sick, sick show.......too bad no one taped. There was a fellow with a video camera who had seats on stage who was taping.....he was cought after about 20 minutes, haha

Yeha, it was funny stuff. During the show, a security guard walked up on stage to get him. The guy (w/the camera) just started to laugh. He was cool about it though. I talked to him later on, he just kept making a joke about the whole situation.
The funny thing was when he was on stage taping. He dind't try to hide the camera or anything, just kinda rested it on his knee.
Classic!
Better luck taping that what he had though........+T!

lol, yeah, i think i'll do ok. The venue is very lax, no pat down or wand, just hand your ticket and walk right in. So i think i'll be wired up before i leave. I can't wait to take out my mics for a run.
