Title: SONY NET MD MZ-NE410
Post by: digital-havok on April 17, 2004, 10:50:57 PM
Hey all, was curious if this is considered a decent recorder for shows.

I see a lot of them on ebay for a really cheap price.

Thanks.

Joe

I think many people like Sharps, mostly because of their ability to set levels on the fly....

Make sure you "buy" a MD that allows you to transfer the files from the MD to your computer.  The new Sony models are coming without that feature.  Sharp is the way to go, with my past experience.  I loved it and thought it was better than the Sony.

first, read that
you'll notice it only records from a computer interface.  Not sure this would even work, But I want to see a ua-5 or 410 run into a MD

second, not even sure this would upload via usb, so you'd have to dac it through the headphone amp which I'm sure is top notch.

third, it's a sony

good luck!!!

I "borrowed" a 510 from everyones favorite shack last night.

I really don't like the layout of this unit besides the fact you cant adjust the levels on the fly and before hand its somewhat annoying.

The line input is decent I guess, but as soon as I get the box back in the mail this is going back.

Only "bought" it because my D7 is on loan...  :-X

I would stay away from sony md's
