Title: FOB stand recommendations... lightweight amd compact

im sure there is a thread for this but dont have hours to kill researching.  any rec's for a quality fob stand.....need one for the Phorum show coming up with the above attributes. small footprint also....

Yep, the stand posted above is the classic fob stand. I bought the Impact version from B&H, the quality is no where near the Manfrotto, stick with Manfrotto & buy it once, its worth the few pennies more.

Yea, this is the stand.  I have had one and used it for years.  Love it.  Some people would hack the legs off to have a smaller footprint, but I never did that to mine.  You can get a small foot print out of it, you just need to tape it down.  Also a good stand to take places when most likely you can clamp to another stand, but you don't want to be shit out of luck if other tapers don't show up.
