Will metal detectors beep at my crotch while I'm crotching my gear? hahaha. How sensitive are those detectors?

In all seriousness, though, usually if you put the metallic stuff behind something else that looks like it would set it off (a big ol' belt buckle is your best bet) and you act really dumb and slow, you'll likely be ok.

The few times I've stealthed i used an arm sling with the gear wrapped around my arm with an ace bandage.

Exactly, they dont want or touch your crotch and ass, so, you could probably back pocket the mics and preamp. I don't recall ever being patted on the rear :-X

Load up yer pockets with lots of change and a pack of sigs (for the foil...and your carcenagenic enjoyment). Once you start digging stuff outta yer pockets they'll just wanna get you through and onto the next punter.

Yep it will set off metal detectors. This happened to me twice at Universal Ampitheatre in Hollywood. Just look puzzled and wear a metal belt. Once they said "go on through the other time they said lift up your shirt. I wear a belt with metallic studs all the way around it . They again just said "go on through". Worst case is they make you take it off and then you can say you have the cock ring. I'd say it real quietly and sound embarassed. Unless he's a really fruitty he's not going to look into it further.

Get out the calculator if you are going to listen to them! One of the most talented bands I have ever heard, but their music can really get to me after a while...

With that gear, I'd put the mic capsules into the ear muff parts of a pair of old head phones (rip the speakers out first) and then just walk in with the nomad on your belt and the "headphones" plugged in and hanging around your neck. That will cover most of it. The battery box will fit behind your belt buckle.
Even if you get your rig in with no problem, tell the gate security that you're sporting a prince albert.

i just put my gear inside my pants by my belt, and in my back pockets and the metal detectors haven't gone off on my yet.

those mics will fit under the arch in your foot in your shoe...just be careful and practice walking lol steel toed shoes will also solve that...the battery box can also fit..yes, i've tried. my jb3 has never set off sensors and always goes in a back pocket
