when i record on my D7 from either digital or analog input my recordings have static. i gave it a good cleanig and still static!!! any ideas?

digi-noise, could be misaligned heads too

if it is digi noise what can i do to get rid of it?

Does the digi-noise only show up if you playback the tape on another deck, or does it happen when using the same deck for recording and playback?
