A friend recommended that I purchase these audio tecnica mics: cardoids At933/ES933C with 4.7k modification
I'm able to find them, but without the 4.7k modification. Can anyone help me find them?

Anyone know if these can be bought pre-modded or who can perform the mod for a stock set?
Sound Professionals does the mod,and maybe some of the cable builders here.
From time to time, Darktrain offers up in the yard sale sets of AT small microphones (853, 943) with the 4.7K mod. His work is absolutely first rate.
I'm sure if you contacted him, he could do the mod for you.
