I'm hoping to find a way to play non-DRM FLAC and MP3s on my iPhone. Anyone found a way to make this happen? I did some googling and there seem to be a few options but I was wondering what people on here do.

And using a dragonfly, and a lightning>Usb dongle (ugh), you have a high quality dac option, too...
Love checking my recordings over the car stereo this way...
There's also FLAC Player, but the Onkyo HF Player is much more stable and has more features. I found FLAC Player to be exceptionally buggy so I stopped using it altogether.
Onkyo does gapless playback correctly, too...
or, convert the flac to apple lossless (foobar2000 does this VERY easily) and play through itunes
Thanks! I'll report back on what I end up with. Recently got a job with lots of walking where I can play music from the phone but not from earbuds so this should be helpful.
Check out Waltr for OSX: https://softorino.com/waltr (https://softorino.com/waltr)
