OK, I recently had Jerry at Audio Magic mod a set of Presto II cables I had which resulted in 2 2' spare pieces which he sent back to me. I decided to take them and try to make some RCA interconnects, using connectors from www.homgrownaudio.com and silver solder. I finally did it this morning and I am shocked at how much of an improvement they are over the canare starquad homemades I was using before. The bass is tighter and not muddled up like is was and the highs are substantially clearer...amazing...dammit, now I am going to have to replace all of my interconnects!!! :djsmilie:
