this may be a long shot, because i think im one of the few running this as an all in one box
but im having difficulty getting anything but 16/44.1 out of this thing
when i try to change the setting in sf6/wavelab/CEP it cause an error in my laptop and restarts it
there is a mixeron the pc, for the 410, and it has an "automatic detect" thing for the sample rate, and it automattically sets to 44.1 when running my mics
anyone have any ideas? i have yet to try and feed it a s/pdif signal, but even then i dont have anything above 16bit to feed it, as i cant do dvd-a yet...

Oh, are you running the drivers it shipped with or the newest ones?
-
the drivers it shipped with, i guess i should have updated my drivers before anything else :)
-
Yeah I'd try that first. I'm running drivers that are a few months old, but since they work great for me (and newer drivers had some issues) I'm going to keep them.
-
the newest drivers they had on thier site were from february, i just d/loaded them and im off to test
-
Mine are from late Jan/early Feb. They just updated again a few days ago. After my next show I have a little break, so I'll do some testing.
-
i just searched thier site and got the newest update that was from feb.... how do i find the newest drivers, or are these new ones for mac?
-
Mac. ;D
-
all good now :)
must have been an issue with that old driver because i can now freely change to whatever sample/bit rates i choose beetween 16/44.1 and 24/96
doing some 24/96 recordings from the tv on surround sound, and everything seems to be going great
i love this box more each time i use it, it seriously is a TANK
-
Yeah, I really like it too. ;D Although that FA-101 is looking quite nice as well...
-
yes it definantly is, i might have to try it out in the future :)
