anyone swaped files over a firewire cable with two jb3's? just curious if this is worth it. i heard that the jb3 doesn't like transfering big files to another jb3.
thanks for the info
I bought a cord but still haven't run into anyone else with a JB3 to give it a try yet ;)
bk, we gotta try this out

Wondering how you got this to work man, Have the 4 to 4 pin cable....
Did you just plug them in and they regognized each other? I plug them in together, and nothing happens...
Is there a hoop that you have to jump through once you have them hooked up?
Thanks
you have to select the file and then there is an option that says "send file" and it will begin the transfer process.
Would this be the correct cable to do this??? http://www.homestead.co.uk/usb150.htm
i tink so

I did figure that out, but I'm still not able to do it for some unforseen reson....
I am running the 'older' firmware 1.32.?? (not at home right now to look at it). Does this only work with the newest firmware?
^^^ possibly, not sure. i have the latest firmware and have had no problems.
I run the 1.32 whatever ...& have no prob doing it. Send file should work
