what kind of opital cable to i need to run my ac-20 to my jb3?

you can prolly just use a regular toslink cable with a 1/8" miniplug adapter...

I use one that came with my old MD player.

Check the Cables and/or Archival Info forums for optical cable suggestions.

i assume you mean ad-20...it's a toslink > miniplug optical cable you'll want.  any one will do, it's up to you how beefy of a cable you want to get.  personally i'm not all too concerned about getting the beefiest cables, but others are.
