Hey everyone,
Question...does anyone have a suggested shock mount for these mics, or maybe a preferred one? Also, let me know where they are sold.

I use the AT8410a's with my AKG393s and they do a great job. I would recommend buying from Micsupply.com

I also use the 8410's with my 393's, and I like them a lot. The Shure shock mounts look intriguing though.

Another vote for the 8410's. I got lucky and got a pair of them and a stereo bar on ebay for 70 bucks shipped. Keep an eye out there.

or you could buy nickpicks used sambras in the yard sale section;) and save yourslef some money

So there is two AT8410a's on ebay right now and it looks like they might go for a good price, but the sambras are also a great deal. I have another question: which of these mounts would work better with a shure vert bar (my next purchase)? Does it matter at all? Thanks for the input everyone.

A little expensive but if you like the low profile deal I'm pretty sure they would fit in those schoeps shock mounts.
