I'm trying to find something to keep a pair of the big shure windscreens from getting crushed. I thought I measured them at 3" diameter, but they don't fit into a 3" poster tube, so they are probably more like 3.5". I thought about PVC, but that would be pretty heavy.

how about a small rubbermaid box?

I didn't see any drain pipe stuff at Home Depot, but then I didn't know to look for it. I'll head back there. I've been using two old yogurt cartons, but I'm looking for something that doesn't take up much volume, so I'm holding off on Rubbermaid stuff for now. Plus I'd pretty much have to be the weird guy on the security camera stuffing a foam object into every food storage container at Target. Thanks for the suggestions. +Ts

I got a box like this @ the container store

They have like 200 different sizes and they only run a few dollars. You could just bring em w/ you to the store and try some out.

I've mashed mine in my bag for almost a year now with no adverse effects...just stuffed 'em wherever there was a little bit of space and they've bounced back every time.
Heh, there goes their resale value. ;)

plastic baggie, getting smushed ain't gonna hurt 'em.

Bush's lived through a fire with just a little smoke damage. Those screens are tough.

Go to the supermarket and get some of those "disposable" containers.
I think ziplock is one of the brands. They come in a variety of sizes and are pretty durable.

I kept mine in a spare crown royal bag just to keep them from getting torn up on hard edges. A little bending and smushing won't hurt 'em... they're built like tanks

Foamy, spongy, bouncy tanks. ;D
