remember that the km184s are balanced for the near field in terms of bass response, so your final mixes may require some bass eq.  ohterwise, they are fine little mics - i've been through 3 pairs of them.

I'm not sure what you mean by that - would they require boost or reduction?

reduction since you would lose your highs the further away from the sound source you are!!

most folks who pick these mics up you see them selling for the km100 series
