Title: Oade Bros. Audio Micro Mics

Anyone use these on TS and have any luck w/ them? Also how do they compare to say SP CMC-8's in performance and price? How much do they cost and what kinda of caps do they have?

Not sure about caps or price, but a friend in Mpls has a pair he uses for stealthing and they sound very nice IMO. I have some recordings if you want to send me a blank disc, or have a place to upload them.

The mics are omni only and they are free with the oade preamp upgrade to sony portables or they cost around $100 I believe.  They run on plug in power, no battery box or roll off.

i believe they use the same panasonic caps as coresounds. search the old oade forum for cap details.
