Hey, so I just got a NJ3 and want to test it out but dont have any of the equipment other then the NJ3 yet.  I was wondering if there is anyone in Illinois who wants to go with me to the Beach Boys concert and show me around taping (as I have never done it before).  I want to just get lawn seats so I can screw around with everything easily.  So if anyone wants to go Ill shell out the 15bucks and get you a ticket.  The show is June 14th at 8pm at the Ravinia.  Has anyone taped there, how are they about bringing stuff in...do they look hard?  My e-mail is BullsFan47@yahoo.com if anyone wants to do this.  I am going away till June 10th so I may not be able to get in contact with you till then...but I wanted to put this offer out there.
Later,
Dan

Dan- cool post, but i might throw this up in the main forum as well... not really for the loaner forum.  Loaner forum is purely for lending gear.

I don't know about stealthing there, but I know that they're real tightasses about open taping at Ravinia, even for taper-friendly bands...

If I wasn't so busy during those few weeks, I'd love to come out and help you. With Bonnaroo and the DMB opening week, I'll be on the road more often than at home.

But I can one up you man - I'm living in Elmhurst, and I work at this bar called Cheeseburger in Paradise. We have live music every night, and we have a pretty good setup. So if you want a little help getting started in just running gear in live situations, PM me, and we'll get you started. We can run AUD, board patches, live matrix mixes, whatever you want to learn.

Peace man.
