Hi guys. Lost my windscreens for my AT-853. Was using the large AT8117. AT's website says they are discontinued....Sweetwater said they had them in stock, but as soon as I paid they send me an email saying they will notify me when they are in stock. Not having high hopes.
I record outside a lot. Need something that can withstand at least moderate wind. By my measurements, the AT-853's are 12mm in diameter. The Movo's that everyone was talking about in the other thread show a minimum size of 18mm.
Any recommendations?

Not sure how accessible they are but I use my Church Audio dead rats with them. They fit a little bit loose but I've never had an issue running with them.

Search eBay for lapel mic windscreen I got a bag of 50 or so for 5or 6 bucks. They are a tiny bit big but I use small Elastics to keep them in place. But either way compared to AT branded ones you can afford to lose a few.

I've used the AT8153 windscreens, which look to be in stock, with AT853 mics with success.

^This. These are the ones you want. Two stage foam. Provide more wind protection than the cheaper generic ones

Sweetwater has 'em, for one:

I have since sold my AT853s (and their accompanying windscreens), but I bought some of these windscreens and they worked really well:
Windtech 10380 High Denisity 3/8" I.D. Microphone Windscreen
https://www.amazon.com/Windtech-10380-Denisity-Microphone-Windscreen/dp/B00QPDUPYM/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=Windtech+10380+High+Denisity+3%2F8%22+I.D.+Microphone+Windscreen&qid=1633627047&s=musical-instruments&sr=1-3
They are $9.49 each with Amazon Prime and there are only three remaining in stock. They are, of course, readily available elsewhere (B&H Photo, etc.).
There is a pic of the windscreens and mics together at the Yard Sale thread where I sold them: https://taperssection.com/index.php?topic=197766.0

Thanks everyone. Good advice. Sweetwater emailed today saying they just received them, and I should have them in a few days. I may also grab the AT 8153 as well and see if they do better in the wind.
