Title: Does 3 Doors Down and/or Nickelback allow taping?
Post by: Ccronks on June 01, 2004, 11:22:24 AM: I'm guessing not, but I figured I would ask. Someone offered me a free ticket if I go and tape it.

Yes, I know, but some guy offered me free tickets (+ cash now) to tape the show.

Post by: greenone on June 01, 2004, 02:54:15 PM: Hmm...sounds shady. It's one thing to get paid by a band to tape their show...another to have someone offer tickets and drinks...but tickets and cash? That's paying for a recording, which wouldn't sit right with me. I dunno - just thinking out loud here.

I'll grant you that Nickleback sucks goat balls, but 3DD is worth seeing/taping. They've been around a decent while, mid-nineties, and put on a good show. (That being said, I've only seen them in smaller clubs).

[yes they cover it and yes IMO you should tape it :D ]

OK, apparently this guy is from Germany, and he ment money for tickets, not money and tickets. I don't think I want to do this anyway. Heading all the way to St. Paul alone on a Tuesday night to stealth a show I don't want.
