Title: M/S + MP2 Questions...

I'm gonna attempt to run M/S for the 1st time this coming Thursday, and have a few questions.

When running M/S with the MP2, what (if any) post recording work will need to be done? Exactly what would it entail? Am I wrong in thinking that it's not possible to monitor the mix via headphones with the MP2? I think you either send the mix line out or through the headphones...

Any help (or an extensive walk through) would be extremely appreciated.

"The on-board MS matrix in the MP-2 and 442 can decode MS stereo for monitoring in headphones or to the outputs. The microphone gain controls adjust the ratio between mid signal and side signal - varying the stereo field."

i personally have not tried m/s with my mp-2

switch to the left and you get headphone out only, switch to the right and you get headphones and line outs
