I am looking for a bag to put this stuff into for High Sierra . Anyone know of any good ones for this setup?

Thanks ;D

Do we have to get the whole leg in the bag or just the knee area? ;)
Maybe a Nova 5?

I was going to try for the foot as well ;)
Do you know a good place to get one?

I bought mine at a local camera shop. I actually have a Nova 4 but I think that would be too small for those LD mics. A Nova 5 may also be too small, maybe someone else can chime in here.
This page has dimensions. Hope that will give you a better idea.

Good deal
thanks much!

Well now that I have both the Nova 4 and the Nova 5 AW I could probably give a pretty good estimate on how it'd work out for you. I think the Nova 5 AW would work out near perfectly for that amount of gear(minus the stand of course).
I got mine from someone in the Yard Sale on here...so keep an eye out there for anyone selling them :)
Or a good deal may pop up on Ebay for them(both used and new) too....just do a search for Lowepro Nova 5

for all lowepro items, search for them on ebay and find the user photococan, he is the shit, ive bought 3 different lowepro bags from him. he usually has the best prices anywhere

Thanks for the help guys. I am thinking I might want a back pack instead of a side strap. Any ideas for backpacks?

Some good suggestions so far. Also check out Targus' line of backpacks and MountainSmith's lumbar packs. My recommendation:
- Pack all your stuff into any old bag.
- Go to a store that carries Targus packs.
- Try packing your stuff into different bags
- Walk around the store carrying the loaded bags to get a feel for how they hold the weight and bulk.
- Repeat for Mountainsmith and Nova bags.
- If price is a concern, instead of buying the bag you like on the spot, look for it online.
More work than someone telling you what bag to use, but it'll ensure you're pleased with your purchase.

I think you will have trouble getting all that into a Nova 5. You could definitely get the dat, cables, mics and UA5 in, but the shocks and headphones would make it a tight fit. I'd go to your local camera store and give it a try, but I think a backpack will be your best bet. I think the Mountainsmith "Day" or "Cairn" pack might be big enough, but I don't think it would offer much padding if that is important to you.

Thanks brian great advice. Money is kind of an issue right now later on I'll invest in a real nice one. What are your thoughts on this one for my gear? (It's a Targus pro series)

Here are the specs[snip]
Looks like it'd do just fine, but it's very difficult to tell whether a bag will work well from specs alone. Hence my recommendation to schlep your gear to a store and try a few different ones out. Two bags could have the same general cubic inch capacity, but because of the design, pockets, dividers, etc. may hold the same gear very differently, or even not at all in some cases.
