I've changed and simplified my entire taping rig over the past year and will probably keep the present set up for a while, so I'd like to find a bag or case that will hold it neatly and functionally (during use, not just during transport) and safely.
Dell Inspiron with firewire PMCIA card protruding from the side.
FW 410
Battery space universal external for Dell.
Battery space universal external for FW 410.
Cables
I'd love a flight case rather than a bag but expect that'd be a ventillation hazzard.
I've searched through the links and suggestions people have put up on the boards and they were somewhat helpful, but I'm wonder if someone can point me to the specific item that would do the trick for me.
Thanks

seriously, though, it sounds like what you're looking for is a setup similar to mine. check it out here (http://www.taperssection.com/yabbse/index.php?board=20;action=display;threadid=7366;start=0).

That's the general idea. I think I'd put my laptop down where you've got the flight cases so I can open it in place in the bag, and carry my mic flight case separately. I can find all that stuff at Target (if I can find Target)?
